Engineers Without Borders International reported Apr. 20 that it’s partnering with Bentley Systems to bring together the global EWB movement and unite the engineering sector, so millions more people can benefit from addressing today’s most pressing challenges and accelerating progress for a sustainable and equitable future for all. The partnership includes five years of core funding and executive insights, and will strengthens the capacity of EWB International to drive collaboration and cooperation within the movement, deliver better results, and unlock its global impact.
EWB is presently a network of more than 30 national organizations that operations in more than 90 countries. This new partnership aims to unite EWB organizations as a global force for good, providing the engineering leadership needed to tackle global challenges humanity faces at a meaningful scale. These include the climate crisis and lack access to clean drinking water, improved sanitation facilities, nutritious food, safe housing and reliable energy.
